Our Featured Beauty

Here is beautiful Maya. She's a Spanish Water Dog, now 13 years young. Her Momma wanted to find a way to keep her around in this realm after she moves onto the next.  I'm so honored to be able to participate in their family.

I have spun Maya's fur by itself, which is what was used on the tree. I have also blended it with 19.5 micron (read really soft) merino, pictured top right . The yarn with different colors is spun with a hand blended batt which includes a variety of fibers: alpaca, silk, bamboo, plus.
