This Round House was conceived and built by Roy Wilson and his family in the late 60's early 70's, and yes, it is a round house! Unfortunately, the space has come to into much disrepair, and is in need of some tender loving care. (which she well deserves) Our desire is to carry Roy's unique perspective, joy, and levity with us in our new vision for the space.
We are transforming this incredible space into a small fiber farm and creative center. The goal is to share the sustainable process of farm, fiber, to fashion, as well as expose the incredible hidden local talent in our community. By hosting classes, instructed by local artists and providing lectures and meeting space, we have already begun our journey. The goal is to provide a judgement free environment to tap into and nurture everyone's innate creative dreams, through encouragement, education, accessability and PLAY!
Katie made it to the concrete! First layer parquee, second lauan, third plywood!
All the wood walls are upcycled pallet wood. Have you ever taken apart a pallet? UGHH!
